These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vento service operated by Vela Payments, Inc. ("Vela Payments," "Vento," "we," "us," or "our"). By signing up for or using Vento, you agree to these Terms.
Vento is an AI-powered business copilot that connects to your existing business tools (point-of-sale systems, email, calendar, banking) and delivers consolidated business intelligence via SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, or email. The service includes daily morning briefings, real-time alerts, on-demand question answering, and weekly summaries.
Vento is designed for business owners and operators. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to connect business accounts and authorize data access to use Vento. By signing up, you represent that you have the legal authority to grant Vento read access to the business accounts you connect.
To use Vento, you must provide accurate contact information and authorize connections to your business tools via OAuth or secure third-party connectors (e.g., Plaid for banking). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts and for all activity that occurs through your Vento account.
Vento accesses your connected business tools in read-only mode unless you explicitly authorize write actions (e.g., sending a message on your behalf). Vento will never take an action that contacts an employee, customer, or supplier without your explicit approval. You may disconnect any integrated service at any time.
By providing your phone number and opting in through our website or during onboarding, you consent to receive SMS and messaging communications from Vento, including:
Message frequency: Varies based on your activity. Typically 1–3 messages per day plus responses to your questions.
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all Vento SMS communications.

We will not share your mobile number or messaging consent with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Vento uses artificial intelligence to analyze your business data and generate insights, summaries, and suggestions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Vento's output is for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business, financial, legal, or tax decisions. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.
Pricing is communicated during onboarding. We may offer free trial periods. Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
The Vento service, including its technology, design, and branding, is owned by Vela Payments, Inc. Your business data remains yours. By using Vento, you grant us a limited license to access and process your connected data solely to provide the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vela Payments, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Vento, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Vento is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data from your connected third-party services.
You may stop using Vento at any time by replying STOP to our messages and requesting account deletion via email. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice when possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via SMS, email, or by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of Vento after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
